The Essex Cricket Foundation is the independent charity arm of Essex County Cricket Club. Formed in 2015, The Essex Cricket Foundation is charged with developing cricketers and enhancing the cricketing environment in Essex.

From coaching and teaching cricket in schools, funding grassroots projects or helping an individual along the cricketing pathway, The Essex Cricket Foundation has evolved from The Essex Cricket & Community Trust to offer a wide spectrum of individuals, clubs and organisations the chance to get inspired by Cricket.

The Foundation supports the delivery of a number of county wide programmes which include Disability and Women & Girls Cricket whilst using the sport as a vehicle to reduce Social and Economical divides in deprived areas of Essex and East London.
